So, I’ve come to the conclusion that I am destined to be a cowboy. And what better way to prove that than wear my cowboy hat everywhere I go?

I finally found a pair of overalls yesterday that I don’t totally hate. These ones are from American Eagle and are made out of a softer denim, more of a chambray material so they’re not stiff and blocky. They even have a drawstring waist so you can cinch them in. I feel like they are a much more flattering version of traditional overalls. For my top, I tucked in this shirt from Club Monaco. I’ve been drawn to stripes lately and I love the classic navy and white color nautical-theme of this shirt.

For shoes, I chose these ones from Call It Spring. I definitely don’t need any more booties, but these were on sale for only $12… so how could I pass them up? I feel like these are the perfect summer booties with the cutouts and buckles on the side. They’re awesome for pairing with shorts and dresses.

And you might be very surprised to discover that I am wearing a new watch today. You might have gotten used to my Marc Jacobs watch but I recently added a new watch to my collection. This one is from Fossil and I was immediately drawn to the grey leather strap. I love the look of gold and grey together. Isn’t it so pretty? For the rest of my jewelry, I wore a navy rope bracelet and some layered necklaces.

Oh, and my cowboy hat is from Lammle’s. I picked it up from the Stampede when I was in Calgary. How cute is it? The cowboy life is the life for me. Can cowboy hats become trendy here in Edmonton so I can wear mine without getting weird looks? Perf.
