I always try to post my more “fashion forward’ outfits on ze blog, but if I being honest, this is the sort of outfit I wear more often than not. When I’m working from home or going for a walk with the fam and Oakley, this is really what you can expect me in. It’s comfy and cozy yet still coordinated enough to make me feel put together without being too fancy for the occasion. I’m a casual girl at heart.
I’m also a Lululemon girly through and through and that is where the base of this outfit comes in. I’m wearing my favorite black Align leggings (25″ length) in this outfit, but I often swap them out for either the Align Wide-Leg pants or the Groove Nulu Flared pants in similar outfits. Basically any pants that are comfy and cozy will do. You will never catch me in jeans or trousers on a work from home day, that’s for sure. The top part of my outfit is a similar vibe. I’m wearing this sweater that’s also from Lululemon made of almost a thick ribbed cotton knit (I have a feeling that is not an accurate way to describe a fabric’s texture). It has wide sleeves with this super cozy (this word will be overused many times in this post) oversized funnel turtleneck. It’s one of my favorite tops of all time and that’s saying something!! Unfortunately, it has long been discontinued from Lululemon’s lineup, but I would say this Turtleneck Tunic or this Softstreme Funnel-Neck Pullover would be the most similar.
Now, this is where the outfit starts to get slightly more exciting. I have been absolutely loving these quilted liner jackets. They’re surprisingly warm because of both the lining and the wind resistant exterior, but lightweight and perfect for just throwing on over any outfit. Mine is from Commense, but I feel like almost every store has a similar version lately. I just love the little bit of colour the khaki/olive shade brings to my outfit.
And now it’s time to look at the accessories. Obviously, when working from home or taking Oakley for a walk, my accessories are going to be kept very minimal. But there’s no way this mini Longchamp Le Pliage pouch wasn’t going to get it’s chance to shine. I love this little bag. It’s holds more than you’d expect, but is also so light and the addition of the crossbody strap (from Aliexpress!! Why Longchamp doesn’t sell one is beyond me) makes it so practical. And finally, to complete the outfit, I’m wearing my favorite Nike Vomero 5 sneakers in Oatmeal. These sneakers have changed my life. They are the comfiest shoes I have ever owned and the colourway is just too perfect in my opinion. I wore these during my month-long Europe trip where I was walking 30,000 steps a day and my feet didn’t get sore or ache one. And that is a miracle my friends.
