In all my years of blogging (AKA 10 whole years), this has been my least consistent year of posting. Now, that is far from the record I would like to set with my blog but dang, life has been busy and there just hasn’t been as much time for ze blog lately. It’s sad really. This blog used to be what I would fill my free time with and now, I just don’t have free time. However, with that being said, I am not complaining about that in the slightest. Life has been so full of numerous surprises and fun things lately that I had just accepted that my blog needs to take it’s place on the backburner for the foreseeable future. But, I am finally back and ready to get blogging again! I can’t promise I won’t take an extended break again but I hope you all stick with me while I figure out my new, adapted blogging schedule!
I had bought these amazing vegan/faux leather pants from Aritzia a couple months ago but Edmonton went through a major heat wave and it was just too hot to wear them. Sun and leather really don’t mix. Unless you like your legs sticking to your pants. Then these are the pants for you. Edmonton recently finally had a couple of cool days (20°Cish) and the first thing I did was pull out these pants. I’m sure you all know that it is absolutely the worst feeling to buy something so cute yet you’re unable to wear them right away. However, my patience finally paid off and I was able to wear them the other day. And I haven’t taken them off yet. That’s how cute they are. So these are the Wilfred Melina Pant from Aritzia and you’re probably sick of hearing about them. They’re all over Instagram and Tiktok (and whatever else social media there is). But I finally hopped on the bandwagon and got myself a pair because their hype is very warranted. Mine are in this gorgeous Sage Frost colour (are we even surprised?). They are high-rise, slim-fit pants that are cut and structured like a pair of jeans. They’re made with Vegan Leather that is so soft and comfy with the slightest stretch. I really didn’t expect them to be this comfortable as faux leather is usually stiff and vinyl-like. I can assure you these are the furthest thing from that. And if you aren’t the biggest fan of the colour (although I don’t know why you wouldn’t be), they come in 51 other colours. Yes, you heard that right. Fifty-one. Dang.
I am actually wearing yet another Aritzia item with these Melina pants. I’ve really been on a Aritzia binge lately. This is the Wilfred Little Cropped Jacket and it’s also an Aritzia staple. I’ve actually been wanting this jacket for like three years now but the price tag has always prevented me from buying it. $198 just seems way too much for something with so little fabric (and yet I had no problem paying $148 for the Melina’s, my mind works in mysterious ways). However, I came across this navy one on Poshmark for only $45 and so, I couldn’t resist. Side note: I absolutely love Poshmark and if you want to check out what I’m selling on Poshmark, click here and enter WHENIMOLDER when you sign up for $15 off of your first purchase! Okay, back to the jacket. So this is a cropped button-up jacket with topstitch detailing and double patch pockets. It’s so lightweight and easy to throw on with almost anything. Plus, I have almost no navy clothes so it’s a nice colour to add in the mix!
The rest of my outfit consists of my two most worn items: my Coach Pillow Tabby shoulder bag and my ivory leather vans. These two items have gone everywhere with my this summer and hopefully they will continue to go everywhere with me in the fall. I’ve talked about both way too often on the blog as it is so I think I will leave it there. You should know by now exactly why and how much I love them.

It’s a Vibe – When I'm Older
[…] Big surprise there. This is all I’ve been wearing all summer (perfectly showcased by my last outfit post) so I will save both of our time by not talking about them for the hundredth time. Peace out from […]
