Cooking With Tay: DIY Dunkaroo Dip

All of the OG readers of When I’m Older will remember that I used to do a series on my blog way back in the day called Make It Yourself Mondays where I would occasionally feature quickly little recipes and DIY’s. I really enjoyed them but somewhere in the whirlwind of life, I forget about them and sadly stopped posting any on ze blog. Well, you best believe there is no one happier than me to announce that they’re back, baby! Bigger and better than ever!

To kick off the series, I am teaching you all how to make this DIY Dunkaroo Dip. Do you all remember the magic of Dunkaroos? Growing up, I was not one of those lucky kiddos who would find one in my lunch bag, but you bet I stole my friends’ Dunkaroos all the time. I stole so many in fact that my teacher had to pull me aside and tell me to stop stealing people’s food. I wish I was kidding. I also wish I outgrew that habit but yet, any of my friends will tell you that I still steal their food to this day. Anyways, since Dunkaroos are now discontinued in Canada, I can no longer steal them from my friends’ lunches so I had to do the next best thing: learn to make them. And although this recipe isn’t 100% spot on, it’s pretty dang close and it will definitely fulfill any Dunkaroo craving you might have. Enjoy!
