I’m not really a body wash kind of gal. Wait, that came out wrong. I do use body wash. I’m very clean, I swear. But I’ve never been the type of person to really care about what body wash or soap I’m using. As long as it does the job of cleaning my body, that’s good enough for me. But that all changed once this winter hit. My skin has been unbearably dry this year. Maybe it has something to do that I’m now working from home and I don’t leave the house. Maybe the lack of fresh air is just drying up my body. Who knows. But what I do know is that I’ve found some really good products to conquer that.
Dove recently came out with a new scent in their body care range. Mango butter and almond butter. If you didn’t instantly salivate at the sound of those two things, I don’t know what is wrong with you. I am such a mango girl. It is truly one of the best fruits out there (besides raspberry because you all know my addiction with raspberry scented things). I got to try both the Dove Glowing Body Wash and the Exfoliating Body Polish in this scent and it’s safe to say that I am fully obsessed with both. Fully. Obsessed. You heard me right.
The Dove Glowing Body Wash is specially made for dry skin. It’s sulfate-free so it’s super gentle. And because it’s infused with mango butter and almond butter, it helps to nourish and renew the skin’s natural moisture. It leaves the skin looking so radiant and hydrated. And the scent. Oh my, the scent. The Mango Butter and Almond Butter scent straight up smells like mango ice cream. If you’ve never had mango ice cream, you’re seriously missing out. Because that is exactly what this scent reminds me of. Absolutely delicious.
The Dove Exfoliating Body Polish is equally as delicious with the exact same juicy mango and creamy almond scent. It contains crushed almonds to gently buff away any dull or dry skin, an absolute necessity in this weather. But, it doesn’t just exfoliate. It’s whipped formula also contains 1/4 moisturizing cream to nourish, soften and smooth skin to help reveal a natural glow. I have never felt softer nor smoother skin than after I used this. Please feel my legs if you don’t believe me. Wait, no, that’s creepy. That was not an invitation to come feel my legs. Goodbye.
