This post is long overdue. And I know I have a tendency of saying that about most posts on ze blog, but I truly mean it with this one. I went to Japan in November of 2022. It is now February of 2025. It is truly embarrassing that it took me a whopping two and a half years to edit, write, and upload this post. It’s also quite a tragedy that it’s also been two and a half years now since I went to Japan. And throughout the process of writing this post, I miss it more than ever. Now that was a good couple of weeks of food! But, what this post doesn’t show was our daily trips (several daily trips to be exact) to 7-Eleven, Lawon, and Family Mart to get countless egg salad sandos, curry pan, onigiri, and sweet treats. There are very few things better than an egg salad sando, let me tell ya. I miss it all greatly. But, these Japan food posts aren’t done yet. Stay tuned for my next What I Ate in Japan post which will be focused on everything we ate in Tokyo specifically. It’s a good one.
