I’m officially on Christmas break and I couldn’t be happier! I am looking very forward to three weeks of non-studying and sleeping in until noon. Or maybe I won’t even get out of bed. I just have a lot of sleep to catch up on, okay?

So, turtlenecks are my new favorite thing. I’m not really sure why it took me 19 years to figure this out. They’re seriously the best. It’s like wearing a sweater and a scarf at the same time but 10x cozier. This one is from Vero Moda and I picked it up on sale during Black Friday. It’s so thick and long and perfect. I paired it with these ripped, distressed jeans. I feel like I never wear blue jeans anymore. I often forget they’re a valid option. I always reach for black jeans nowadays.

For shoes, I’m wearing these tan suede booties from Aeropostale. I also forgot that I owned these boots. They were sitting in a shoebox wedged in the back of my closet. I think that’s a sign that I have too many pairs of shoes and that I should maybe stop shopping. …Nah. Who am I kidding? Don’t stop, won’t stop.

And how cute is my lil’ Oakley looking today? He was not in the mood to have his picture taken. He probably thinks that I’m so self-centred and wonders why I take so many pictures of myself. He doesn’t know this blog exists. Poor dog.
