I’m not sure if these Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolors would be classified as a liquid lipstick, but we will just say they are. They are close enough. This is going to be an extremely short review because long story short, these are amazing. And except for one minor fault, I don’t have too much to say about them.
Mine are in the shade Seduction and Addiction. Seduction is a gorgeous nude. It has almost coral undertones to it and because of that, it is incredibly flattering. I am used to wearing more pinky or rosey nudes so it’s quite a surprise that I like this shade as much as I do! Addiction is a deep burgundy that I loved wearing all winter.
The first thing that I noticed about theseliquid lipsticks is the scent. They smell like a fruity vanilla. Think the scent of strawberry Lip Smackers crossed with vanilla ice cream. It’s heavenly. When you first apply these lipcolours, they go on a tiny bit glossy, but once you allow them to set on your lips, they turn into a gorgeous velvet matte. These are a 100% wax-free gel formula so they are incredibly moisturizing unlike your typical liquid lipstick. But, because of this, they also don’t dry like an ordinary liquid lipstick. No matter how long you let them set on your lips, they will never dry completely, meaning they will always transfer off of you lips. They are long-wearing but you will still have to re-apply every couple of hours. But that is totally fine with me so these will remain one of my lipstick favorites.
