November Beauty Wishlist

With the introduction of the 2016 Holiday Collections this year, I couldn’t be more excited about makeup! Christmas is my favorite time of the year purely because of that. Is that pathetic? Maybe, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I clearly know what’s important in life. 😉

1. Dior Mono Eyeshadow in #751 Infinity: I love the formula of the Dior Mono Eyeshadows. They are so creamy and buttery and blend amazingly so when I saw that they released a new shade with their Holiday Splendor collection, I was so excited! It’s a gorgeous shimmery warm taupe. It’s a staple crease shade for me.

2. Guerlain Precious Light Pink Pearly Illuminator: I think the Holiday collection I’m most excited for this year is the Guerlain Exceptional collection. There are so many things I want from the line, but why oh why does it all have to be so expensive. I have always loved the Guerlain Precious Light illuminators, but this limited edition one is truly something else. It’s a rosey colour that almost turns into a rose gold on my face. It’s perfect on it’s own but also looks gorgeous with the Météorites Pearls layered overtop.

3. Guerlain Météorites Pearls Carousel: Oh what a surprise. Another Guerlain item is on my wishlist this month. I purchased the regular Météorites Pearls last month and although I still haven’t determined exactly whether I love them or not, I know I need these new limited edition pearls. They have more of a pinky tone to them and since I’m so pale, they actually work as a blush on me! They’re gorgeous.

4. Clinique Pop Matte Lip Colour in Blushing Pop: I cannot get over how gorgeous this colour is. It’s truly the perfect nude. I have called so many shades the perfect nude over the years but I take it all back. There is not a single one more perfect than this. It’s not too pink, not too brown, not too light, not too dark. It’s. Just. Perfect. Just take my word for it. Plus it’s part of Clinique’s new matte collection so it’s super long-wearing, has great pigmentation but also not drying!

5. Dior Splendor Eye Shadow Palette in Precious Embroidery: I have to admit I’m not usually the biggest fan of Dior’s quints (not quads because they’re five shadows.. so quints?). However, every shade in this palette is so pretty! The taupes and purples and golds pair so nicely together and create the perfect winter eye look!

6.Coach New York Eau de Parfum: When you look at this bottle, you probably think it’s going to be another ordinary floral fragrance that just doesn’t excite you, right? That’s definitely what I was thinking until I sprayed it. I have never been more shocked. This fragrance was made for me. 1) The name of the fragrance is called New York. 2) The top note is sparkling raspberries and it smells exactly like that. Need I say more? It’s the most gorgeous sweet and fruity fragrance with a musky vanilla base. It’s all I have wanted in a fragrance.

7. Benefit Roller Lash: Okay so this isn’t exactly a new mascara (launched over a year ago, correct?) so I was super surprised when I finally tried it. When it first launched, I remember hearing a couple bad reviews so I never thought to give it a chance ever again. Then, on a whim, I tried it out and my life was changed forever. This is my holy grail mascara. It’s curls and lengthens your lashes unlike any other. My lashes literally double in length and they curl so beautifully. You don’t even have to use an eyelash curler with it, it just does it all on it’s own with it’s specially formulated“hook n’ roll” brush!

8. Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Out Loud: This is definitely not a typical Taylor colour, but I think that’s why I love it so much. It’s a burnt orange. Would you like me to repeat that for you? A burnt orange. But Taylor, isn’t that your favoite colour of clothes right now? Yes, yes it is. So what’s better than being able to wear it on my lips as well? My lips practically scream Fall when I’m wearing it, especially if I’m actually yelling the word Fall. (That was so funny, please laugh.)
