What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas

Is that quote entirely true? Obviously not, since I’m sharing these Vegas pictures with all of you. They did not stay in Vegas luckily. This trip seems like so long ago, but it was actually less than two weeks ago. That’s crazy. Edmonton just seems so boring in comparison. And cold. So very cold. I wish I could wear an outfit like this in Edmonton right now. But I would die.

As I said before in my previous Vegas outfit post, I tried to pack light and thus, only brought one jacket and two pairs of shoes with me (plus three pairs of heels and a pair of sneakers; so I didn’t reallypack all that light). As a result, my outfits from Vegas will all look very similar to you, which I’m a bit sad about. So, I wore my one jacket, which is this gorgeous camel one from Topshop and paired it with a lace long sleeved top that I got a million years ago (actually six years ago) from Urban Outfitters. It’s a great top to pull together the black and camel colour in this outfit!

For jeans, I’m wearing the same coated denim from Vero Moda that have been on the blog for the past month. They are just such a staple pair of pants but also look so chic and help me look put together (kinda). But, what I’m most excited about in this outfit is my backpack. I have been wanting a mini backpack for ages because I always viewed them as being the most versatile and practical things, especially for trips. So when I picked this one up from Shoppers (see, not all of their purses are hideous!), I knew that I would definitely get some use out of it, especially when I travel! It was an awesome bag for using as my carry-on on the plane as well as using it walking around Vegas because I needed something large enough to keep my camera in. God, I’m such a tourist.
