Dusty Rose For a Dusty Fall

Oooh, Taylor’s back in her signature colour. Honestly, I never feel more myself than when I’m wearing this dusty rose pink shade. It’s me in a colour. The one hue that describes me best (apart from mustard yellow of course).

So, before you even start to comment, I know that this jacket is obnoxious. I’m fully aware of it. But I love it. I’ve been eyeing it in Zara for a good two months now. But this jacket is incredibly oversized, so the small was always huge on me. It looked like I was drowning in a puddle of dusty rose fur. But then one lucky day, I was able to spot it in an extra small and I knew it was fate. Because if that’s not the definition of meant to be, I don’t know what is.

But when you’re wearing a big furry dusty rose jacket, you can’t just stop there. Oh no you definitely can’t. You have to match you sweater to the jacket. So even iff you take off the coat, you’re still wearing dusty rose. How sick are you of those two words by now? So yes, I wore a dusty rose sweater underneath to match. Cause this ain’t no joke to me.

For the rest of the outfit, I went down the neutral path. (But if I owned a pair of dusty rose jeans, you knowI’d be wearing those for sure). Instead, I’m wearing my black coated denim that almost look like leather so they make me look way more put together than I actually am. And then to pull the whole outfit together, I’m carrying a purse that I forgot about for a little while. This grey boxy velvet bag that tied the dusty rose (last time I’ll say it, I promise) and black together. Bam. First outfit of Fall is complete.
