Zoya Fall 2020 Luscious Collection

I think the best thing about Autumn are all the pretty fall colours, hands down. Burnt oranges, rusty reds, mustard yellow and sage greens. There’s truly nothing better (except for pistachio green in the spring). And that’s why I was so excited to receive the new Fall 2020 Luscious Collection from Zoya. There’s twelve shades in this season’s collection- six are in the pinks and purples family and the other six are the ones featured in this post: a perfect combination of warm and cool tones.

Testing out these nail polishes was the perfect opportunity for me to paint my nails again. I had been rocking bare nails for the majority of this pandemic, but you know, even though I rarely leave the house anymore, it sure is nice to have pretty nails. Because after all, who doesn’t want to wear their favorite fall colours on their nails so that you can see them constantly as you’re typing away while working from home.

So let’s talk about the shades. From left to right, Lisa is a true red crème. Soleil is a stunning coppery gold metallic. Tasha is a metallic bronzed brown. Mel is the most beautiful green crème- almost a cross between an olive green and a sage green. Lou is a mid-toned blue crème and Tommy is a blueish grey crème, leaning towards a periwinkle. It’s hard to pick but I’d say Mel (the green) or Tasha (the metallic brown) are my two favorites in the collection. They’re just such unique shades that aren’t comparable to anything I already have! And the formula. Throughout all my years of testing nail polish formulas, Zoya’s is one that has never let me down. They contain no added formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde resin or camphor. And they’re one of the best chip resistant polishes I have found on the market. Most nail polishes chip within one day for me, but I can go at least 4-5 days without this one giving up on me!
