Like I said in my last What I Ate in Japan post, this blog post is long overdue. I meant to post it in 2022. And then, two and a half years later, I meant to post it in 2025. And now, a whole year after that, I found this post sitting in my drafts folder and here we are. This post is likely so outdated- some of the restaurants featured probably don’t even exist anymore. But, in an effort to share my love of Japan and all of it’s food, I thought it was better to post late rather than never. And, selfishly speaking, I just want to be able to look back on this post for years to come (or, at least until I revisit Japan). So, without any more delay, here is everything I ate in Tokyo!!

So, that was every single thing I ate in Tokyo. I think I spent a combination of 6 days in Tokyo (at both the beginning and end of my trip when flying in and out of Japan) and I truly ate my way through the whole city. There’s not a day goes by where I don’t miss it. If you’re anything like me and want to relive the rest of my Japan trip, make sure to also read my What I Ate in Japan (includes Hakone, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Nara) as well as What I ate at Tokyo Disneyland, both linked down below. I know I said in one of the posts that I would also be writing a What I Ate at Tokyo Disneysea as well as What I Ate at Universal Studios Japan, but the way it’s looking, it might be a couple more years until those get posted. Whoops.
