New year, new skincare! And this skincare review is an especially exciting one. I have been wanting to try the Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash from By Wishtrend for quite some time now. But, I never did bite the bullet and purchase it. And I guess it was for good reason because look what showed up on my doorstep the other day!
One thing I absolutely love about Wishtrend is that they are truly dedicated to teaching their customers about skincare. And one of the ways they do that is through their TMI boxes. These TMI boxes stand for Tell More Info and they are designed to help you learn more about the included skincare in relation to your specific skin type. This specific TMI Box featured in today’s post teaches you all about building a cleansing routine that suits YOUR skin, using the Green Tea & Enzyme Wash duo ($41.65USD). It covers everything that you need to know about properly cleansing and exfoliating your skin. It includes a flowchart where you can find out what type of skin reset you need, as well as a detailed guidebook that provides you a step by step guide on how to build a cleansing routine according to your skin type. You’ll also find a cute spa headband and face towel in the box that transforms this box into a super cute gift set!
I have been absolutely loving both products in the Wishtrend TMI Box. The By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Milky Foaming Wash ($20USD) contains 52% green tea water extracted from green tea leaves as well as papain enzyme (derived from papaya!) that helps to gently melt and wash away the built-up dirt and excess sebum from your pores. I absolutely love the texture of this cleanser. It’s a gel formula that melts into a milky glaze once applied to the skin. The By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash ($24USD) is equally as nice. It’s a powder cleanser to it provides both cleansing and exfoliating effects while the included Papain Enzyme, Coconut-derived Surfactant and Baking Soda gently melts away blackheads, impurities, and dead skin cells for brighter and smoother skin.
Because I have Acne-Prone Skin, it is recommended that I cleanse my skin with the Milky Foaming Wash every morning. Then, for the nighttime, about 3 times a week, I concentrate exfoliating my more oily areas on my face with the Powder Wash (with a powder & water ratio of 3:7 so it’s more gentle) and use the Milky Foaming Wash all over as my nightly cleanser. If you also have acne-prone skin and need a more gentle routine, I would definitely recommend you following that same routine. However, if you have a different skin type, see below to match up your skin type with a new cleansing routine!
