I know I have said this about a lot of the “What I Ate” posts on ze blog, but this one was definitely the hardest to write. And I’ve been putting off writing it because I knew it would be so hard to write. As you know, I went to Japan last November and it was the trip of a lifetime. Ever since I was little, Japan was at the top of my travel bucket list. And six months ago, I finally got to go and experience everything that Japan had to offer… including Tokyo Disneyland!
It physically pains me to write this post and relive all of the magical memories that Tokyo Disneyland provided me with. I miss everything about Japan so much and I am itching to just get on a plane and go straight there. We will see how strong my self control is. I ate a LOT at Tokyo Disneyland, and Japan in general, but don’t you worry- I photographed all of it. However, because I was there for two whole weeks, we are going to do a couple of separate “What I Ate” posts – one for DisneyLAND, one for DisneySEA, one for Universal Studios and one for the rest of Japan, excluding the aforementioned theme parks. I hope you’re ready because that’s a lot of food talk. But here we have everything I ate in Tokyo Disneyland to get us started!
A couple of quick things to mention before we get into the food- the park was decorated for Christmas when we went in November so some of the food is Christmas themed and therefore, limited edition. Also, I couldn’t remember everything I ate so take the descriptions and prices with a grain of salt! Enjoy!
Plasma Rays Diner
Refreshment Corner
Red Bean and Matcha Donut (maybe?) – ¥?
Plaza Pavilion Restaurant
Hot Bourbon Whiskey & Cocoa Cocktail – ¥780
Restaurant Hokusai
Pecos Bill Cafe
Hot Apple-Maple Drink – ¥550
Popcorn Wagons
La Taverne de Gaston
Le Fouse Churros (Apple Caramel) – ¥500
Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s Good Time Cafe
It goes without saying that the food at Tokyo Disneyland was incredible. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Disney park in America (I was 12 when I went to Disneyland in California), but I was shocked at how affordable all the food at Tokyo Disneyland was, and therefore, I tried a lot of things. I don’t regret it one bit. I will forever be dreaming of the Little Green Buns (we love mochi) and the Matcha White Chocolate popcorn (we also love popcorn). Stay tuned for my What I Ate at Tokyo DisneySea!
