What I Ate in Montreal

best food in montreal

Bonjour mes amis! I am back from my quick(ish) getaway to Montreal and I’m so excited to be reliving it as I write this blog post. I have been wanting to visit Montreal for as long as I can remember and that dream was finally made a reality this past month! The city was exactly as charming and fun and lively as I expected it to be and I already can’t wait to go back one day! And the food in Montreal is on a whole other level when compared to anywhere else in Canada in my opinion. I did eat slightly more than just bagels, poutine, and smoked meat (as you can see by the following photos), but man oh man, I will forever be dreaming of cheese curds. They’re just not the same here in Edmonton. Read on for all that I ate in Montreal!

If there’s one thing that amazes me at the end of each of these “What I Ate” posts, it’s how much food and eating we can fit into each trip. We were in Montreal for six days this time around so it’s really not as much food when you consider we were there for more than just a weekend but holy moly, I was not expecting this post to be so long. Oh well, there are definitely worse problems to have!
