Everytime I go to vancouver, the city never ceases to amaze me. There is just so much to see and do and shop and walk and EAT. Oh man, let me really just re-emphasize that, there is just so much to eat. And although one of the main reasons behind my frequent travels to Vancouver is primarily because of all the wonderful restaurants there, this trip was for a very different purpose. My bestie, Ali, got MARRIED in Vancouver this past weekend. And let me tell you, I cry during every wedding I go to, but it’s a whole other set of emotions when it’s your childhood best friend getting married. It was just the most picturesque and perfect evening and I couldn’t be happier to see her marry the man of her dreams!
Now that the sappy stuff is over, let’s move on to the food! This was actually the first time that my boyfriend and I have gone to Vancouver together (we’ve each gone separately a bunch of times!). And so, we spent some of the time revisiting old favorites, but also trying out some new restaurants and boy oh boy, did we find some new favorites!

Judging by the amount of food in this post, you would have thought I went on a week long trip or something, but no, I was only there for four days and one of those days was spent at the wedding. I am just as surprised as you are that I managed to eat that much food over the span of 96 hours. But I didn’t just eat a lot of food, I also drank a lot of coffee. I have somehow became a little bit of a coffee connoisseur over the years and checking out new coffee shops and cafes have become one of my favorite (and more expensive) hobbies. Who knows- maybe the next post I do will be a What I Drank instead of a What I Ate. Stay tuned for that in the future!
