For those of you who weren’t aware, Benefit previously had three concealers in their range- the Boi-ing concealer, the Fake Up concealer, and the Erase Paste concealer. Although all three concealers were incredibly successful and loved by many, they just didn’t coincide with one another. The packaging was vastly different and the names were confusing. So, Benefit decided to relaunch those three concealers in new packaging and matching names and added one new concealer to the mix as well. Now all four concealers have the same master name, Boi-ing, but with different subtitles in a sense. The original concealer is still called Boi-ing Industrial Strength concealer. Fake up is now Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer, Erase Paste is now Boi-ing Brightening Concealer and the newest addition to the family is Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer. Not too confusing right? In today’s post, we are going to be talking about the brand new Airbrush Concealer as well as the infamous Brightening Concealer from Benefit!
The Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer is everythingI have ever wanted in a concealer. I hate the look of anything cakey and especially when I covering pimples, I find thick and heavy concealers just stick to the dry skin around the inflamed spot and make it even more visible than before. So when I found out that Benefit was making a sheer to medium coverage concealer, I was super duper intrigued to find out if it would work for me. The Airbrush Concealer is super cool because not only does it have a 10-hour wear, but it’s also waterproof! It’s so lightweight and staying true to it’s name, it’s really does look airbrushed! It doesn’t crease, crack or cake woohoo! And even cooler, you can actually layer this concealer over top of Benefit’s other three concealers to seal them and make them waterproof! I know this would be a great idea for Benefit’s Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer (previously Fake Up) because I can never get that concealer to stick on my face and not crease.
Next is the Boi-ing Brightening Concealer and it’s the exact same concealer as the well-loved Erase Paste. The Brightening Concealer is full coverage and is the perfect solution for tired eyes and dark circles. It has a peachy pink tint/undertone to it so it corrects dark circles. In addition to it’s colour-correcting properties, it’s also extremely creamy and blendable and won’t irritate delicate under-eye skin. I love patting this under my eyes in a triangle shape to highlight my face and brighten my eyes! As mentioned earlier, you can also layer the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer overtop of it to help set it so it won’t budge throughout the day!
