It has become a little bit of a tradition over on ze blog to share what I wore on the first day of school. If you have missed them in the past, check out what I wore to my first day of grade 12 here and my first day of first year of uni here. Yes, they’re embarrassing. Thank God I have stopped doing video outfit of the days. They were never good. But anyways, here is what I wore for my first day of fourth year!
And before we comment on how pale my legs are, this is what my legs look like with three, yes three, layers of self tanner on. So, we better just accept that this is as tanned as I’m going to get unfortunately. Despite my paleness, I opted to wear a dress for the first day! Better dress up while I still can, right? I love this dress from Oak and Fort. It’s the perfect transition piece into Fall. When it gets colder, I love to pair it with jeans and booties (like here).
Because I need to look like an intimidating fourth year student, I wore my leather vest over top of the dress. Because I’m edgy. Never forget it. I finished off the look with just my plain black booties from Spring! And to celebrate the start of this school year, I treated myself to a new backpack! My old Matt & Nat backpack (see here) was slowly dying after three years of carrying textbooks back and forth, so I decided it was time for a new one! I decided to stick with the same brand but got a slightly different style! This one is more oval and larger so it can better keep up with me this time! And I absolutely love the colour! It’s a nice change from the boring old black.
