Here we are, a month into Summer vacation, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. Summer just makes me a really happy girl. Plus, not having the need to throw on a parka overtop of everything is really great as well. When the sun is shining and the birds are chirping, I can’t help but have a good day. I feel so much more relaxed lately. It’s a good feeling to have.

I’m wearing white jeans again today. If I’m not wearing shorts or a skirt or a dress, there is a 99% chance you will find me in this pair of white denim or my more distressed ones. I just can’t force myself to put on a pair of blue or black jeans. They seem too dark and wintery to me. I need my pastels in my life.

For my top, I’m wearing a beige chiffon tank top with some lace detailing in the front and then for contrast, I threw this blue linen jacket over it. I recently saw this jacket online at Forever 21 and fell in love. It’s such a great jacket for layering because the linen material makes it super lightweight for summer. Plus, I love the blue for bringing some colour into my outfits. I think it looks so great with the white jeans.

For accessories, I’m carrying my favorite purse that I recently picked up at my Shoppers Drug Mart and I wore my brown suede booties that match perfectly. Jewelry was kept simple with my Fossil watch and a few assorted gold bracelets.
