If you didn’t read my last blog post (shame on you), then here’s a lil’ recap for you: it is now the middle of November and we’ve had far too much snow for my liking. However, you might be looking at these photos and thinking I’ve officially lost my mind as there is clearly zero snow on the ground. Well, I hate to break it to you but these photos were taken a couple of weeks ago when it was still fall and warm (for the most part) outside. Now, it’s a winter wonderland (wonderland is a questionable description) everywhere I look. So, enjoy these photos as proof of my last fall outfit of 2020.

I honestly can’t believe it’s almost December. 2020 is nearly over. That’s crazy to me. I am so pumped to finish off this year in the best way possible. And how am I doing that, you might ask? Well, that’s a secret I’ll never tell. Xoxo, Gossip Girl. Wow, that Gossip Girl reference just slid right in there. Sometimes, I think my fingers have a mind of their own when I’m typing these blog posts. I think that’s what makes them so entertaining to write (and read, I hope). But anyways, I will fill you all in on the big news in a couple of weeks but for now, please enjoy this fall fashion outfit post!

As I talked about in my last blog post, I felt like I didn’t have quite enough tops to sustain my outfit choices every day. And since I’m in front of a webcam on Zoom 90% of my work day, I felt like tops really are the most important thing in my wardrobe right now. And so, I really kept that in mind when shopping these past couple of months. I picked up this blouse last month from Aritzia and it’s called the Wilfred Trapeze Blouse. It features a mock-neck with a self-tie collar, covered buttons on the shoulder, lantern sleeves and a billowy, flowy trapeze silhouette. It has quite the 70’s vibe to it I find. I even wore it to (online) class where I did a presentation on the Women’s Lib Movement of the 1970’s. Very fitting, I know. I also get flight attendant vibes from it. If I was an Emirates Flight Attendant in the 1970’s, this is what I’d be wearing. I just know it. I also absolutely love the material and colour of it. It’s a gorgeous taupe satin that isn’t too shiny so it doesn’t look cheap at all.

Overtop of the blouse, I’m wearing yet another Club Monaco Daylina coat. Yes, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I have this coat in three colours but for good reason. It’s really the only style of coat I wear in the fall. Don’t tell the others but this gray one is probably my favorite. It matches the most. I then finished the outfit off with some subtle accessories: black skinny jeans, black knee-high suede boots, and a black crossbody leather purse. Oh and then these bold statement earrings from Oak and Fort. You’ll never catch me without statement earrings. That’s a fact.

Hi there!! I love your blog! Could you tell me what size you wear in the CM coat? I’m debating between a S or XS

Hi Tiana! This one is an XS but I also have this coat (in a different colour) in a size small as well. I would advise a small if you want to layer thick sweaters underneath but if not, an XS is great!
