I try not to repeat too many clothing items on the blog. I only do outfit posts once a week so I try to keep them fresh and wear different pieces each post. However, I haven’t been shopping much (what has happened to you, Taylor?!) and to be honest, I pretty much only wear this jacket in real life (is my blog not real life?). Check it out in a previous outfit here. It’s truly a perfect jacket for Fall. It’s warm, it’s versatile, it’s chic. It’s just really, really great. That’s all I have to say.
So that last time I wore this jacket, I let it be the focal piece and the centre of attention (apart from me of course, I’m always the centre of attention). However this time, I decided to switch up a bit. Let’s talk about my pants first. They’re snakeskin. But not real snakeskin. Imagine if I was just wearing snakes around my legs. That would be weird. Very weird. My dad calls them my rockstar pants. Definitely not the look I was going for. But y’know, I’m just that edgy (this joke needs to die). (Also, I need to stop putting things in brackets, I just have a lot of side comments today.) I picked these pants up from Zara a couple years ago on Black Friday and I really love the pop of interest they can add to an outfit. Speaking of Black Friday, that’s today! Hopefully while you’re reading this, I’ll be shopping my heart out. This girl desperately needs some sweaters in her life. Or else I will freeze. It’s a need, not a want. I hope y’all are shopping til’ you drop as well. Let me know all the good deals you find, we gotta work together to save the maximum amount of money. Because there is really nothing I love more than finding the best deals. Stay tuned for my Boxing Day discount overview post later this year. That’s always one of my favorite posts to put together.
Because my pants are just a tad bit bold, I thought over-the-knee boots could tone them down. My thought process was that the less of the pattern you see, the more subtle, right? However, over-the-knee boots are a statement in themselves so I don’t believe my way of thinking was entirely correct. But when am I ever correct? Psh, just kidding, I’m literally always right. Before I end this post and go to bed to desperately get the sleep I need, let’s just discuss the giant pom pom on my Kate Spade purse. I have been obsessed with bag charms, but everyone has been asking me why I have a random puff ball on my purse. This was actually the pom pom that I originally bought to use as a tail for my Halloween bunny costume and I decided to repurpose it as a bag charm. I think it’s cute and that’s all that matters. Because is it even Fall if you don’t have a pop of burgundy somewhere in your outfit?
