I’m officially on summer mode and it’s wonderful. Gone are the days of studying and crying over my textbooks. Now I just get to embrace the freedom of a four month summer. Except for the fact that I’m working 14 hours a day. That’s not so wonderful. For those who haven’t heard, I’m now working two jobs for the summer. In addition to my beloved job at the Beauty Boutique at Shoppers Drug Mart, I’m now also a sales associate at Aritzia. It’s exhausting. But we’ll just skip over that fact. I’ve been getting really excited that the weather has turned from horribly cold to not-so-horribly-cold. The weather isn’t great (we got snow a couple of days ago), but at least I can finally start to pull my summer pieces out of my closet.
These jeans are one of my favorite items in my closets. My friends were all joking with me, asking me if I needed to borrow money to buy myself a new pair of jeans. I agree that they do have massively big rips in the knees but I really love that about them. They’re so different from any other pair of white denim. My top is a longline grey tee with giant slits. What else is new? When will my love of top/dress crossbreeds stop? Never. I just really like long shirts. I think they’re cool.
I’m so excited about the necklace I’m wearing today. We sell it at Shoppers Drug Mart but I’ve eagerly been waiting for it to go on sale. My location hasn’t put it on clearance yet, but when I was visiting another Shoppers (I’m a traitor, I know), I found it for 75% off! It’s such a pretty gunmetal chain with little baubles hanging off of it. I’m also wearing my Steve Madden heels that haven’t seen the daylight since last summer. I picked these up last summer on clearance and with the much appreciated help of my friend’s discount, they were only $20 or $30 I believe! They are such a great shoe. Comfy and cute.
